An off-center obverse copper dime trial of this design on a copperplated zinc planchet has since been discovered. For more information about this, click here. The discovery of this trial combined with additional information found in the August 7th Edition of Coin World by Victoria Stone Moledor has brought into question whether or not this piece is a mint product.
