This year is known only for a quarter splasher JA1823-1,
odd quarter muling JC1823-1,
and a cent J46/P6225 that was produced outside the mint, in the late 1850s to early 1860s, from dies sold as scrap metal and believed to have been purchased by either Joseph J. Mickley, Montroville Dickeson or John Haseltine.
These were struck in silver as illustrated above and copper.
