This year is known for the first small cent patterns J119/P134



These, with holes in the middle, were struck in billon and copper and were later restruck in both perforated and unperforated form.

A more polished 3 cent piece was also produced J125/P147 which was also restruck later.



Longacre modified the obverse of his double eagle design J126/P148 primarily by lowering the relief of the cheek.
